From Sandwich, head for the A257 towards Canterbury. Before you reach the railway crossing, you need to turn right down Richborough road. This then passes under the A256, then crosses the railway line. Your location is just around the corner on the right.
There is room to park by the public footpath sign.
There is nothing at all at this location. However, you could always go into Sandwich for a ... beef and onion pie??? Groan - Ed!
Shots can be had in both directions here, although the old pillars of the East Kent Light Railway limit southbound shots from one side of the crossing. However, from the west side of the crossing, good southbound shots can be had in the afternoon and evenings. Northbound shots can be awkward on a sunny day, so it`s probably best to go somewhere else!
