From Manston, take the B2050 west. After passing the airport to your left, take the B2190 which will lead you to Minster. Head towards the station which is at the bottom of the village. However, do not take this turn, taking instead the next right after you see the signpost. (This right hand turn is right by the level crossing next to the station) Follow this road (You should have houses to your right, and horse stables etc to you left) and you should shortly come to a crossing which leads to the Scout hut on the other side of the tracks.
You should be able to park your car around here, but be careful not to obstruct any gates etc.
There is a pub which serves food in the village itself, and also an Indian restaurant.
On sunny days, this location is best for east bound trains up until about lunchtime. Trains travelling in the opposite direction are best photographed from early afternoon. This location would be suited to those wishing to take video, as it is generally very quiet here.
