Location notes
Just east of East Boldon Metro station.
Railway type and traffic
Metro's every 5/10 minutes in each direction. 2 trains per hour to and from Sunderland and the occasional Transpennine and freight service.
Environment
East Boldon is a small town to the West of Sunderland. There is no path next to the road, just a grass verge but there are a couple of benches as the area is popular with bird watchers.
Road directions
From the A1(M)
At the Washington Service Area join the A194(M) (Stay in the right hand lane) and follow the signs to the Tyne Tunnel. At the Testos roundabout take the second exit, singed for Sunderland North, on to the A184. East Bouldon is two miles along this road.

Public transport
Plenty of Metro's and Busses to East Boldon, the location is 10/15 minutes walk (about a mile) from there.

There are shops and a pub at East Boldon.
