New Mobile Site
We have just launched a new mobile version of this site - m.trainspots. This page will use your smart device's GPS to loctate you and guide you to locations that are close to your present location.
Location notes
This location is west of Chippenham Wiltshire and is the second road bridge west of the disused cord of Thingley Junction.
Railway type and traffic
This is the Great Western main line from Paddington to the Wales and the West. Plenty of HSTs and freight with a sprinkling of DMUs.
Environment
Very rural, farming country.
Road directions
The location is off the main A4 west of Chippenham or the A350. It can be accessed from the A350 taking the turn for Notton then heading for Thingley. These are unclasified roads.
