New Mobile Site

Location notes
Deal is a seaside location in East Kent, and is about halfway between Sandwich and Dover.
Railway type and traffic
Class 375 Electrostars are generally all you see on the line these days, although the occasional charter and engineers train can be seen passing.
Environment
This station is staffed every day until 19:00, and a little later during weekdays.
Road directions
From Dover, head towards Deal on the A258. At Deal, continue on this road along the coast until you see see the pier ahead of you. You need to turn left just before this. You will not be able to miss the station which is about 300 yards from here.

You can park behind the station, in the nearby supermarket car-park, or in the many side streets around here.

Amenities
The nearby Sainsburys offers plenty including a money back from the car-park if you buy enough! There are also plenty of shops, pubs and cafes nearby, including the Black Douglas cafe.
Unfortunately, 87030 is nowhere to be seen............

There are lots of B&Bs and hotels, particularly along the seafront.

Not the best of locations for photography, but this location is probably best of trains on platform one from the afternoon onwards.
Shots of southbound trains can also be taken from the footbridge. From here, you will be able to get the signal box to the north of the station in the shot.
