From London come off the A3 at the Wooden Bridge, junction just after you pass under the railway bridge, and the station is sign posted from there.
Use either the station car park or Farnham Road car park, which is a 2-3min walk to station.
There is train every 15minutes from Waterloo or 30 minutes from Portsmouth.
There are a number of take ways by the back exit of the station .
The station runs roughly north to south. To the east side is the station buildings and bus stops. To the west is a set of sidings and a car park. There is access to the station from the car park via a bridge, the steps to which offer some alternate views to the platform ends. Northbound workings will emerge from a tunnel and pass under a wide bridge. Southbound workings have a clear run into the station.
The station itself is quite dense with some lines having platforms on either side and this means the the station canopies throw shadows across the platforms for most of the day.
