A new mobile site has been ceated. Whilst this page will remain you may find
Trainspots mobile better suited to a smart phone.
The location is on the A6 ring road of Derby. Follow this road into town and you will pass over the location.
There is no stopping on the bridge so you will need to park in the retail/industrial units have plenty of parking which is only a few minutes walk away.
Arriva have a number of Services that run along London Road, which is the southern end of Pride Parkway.
Numbers 44 and 45. Plus there are a couple of stops on Pride Parkway itself.
There is nothing in the immediate area. But Derby city centre is a short drive/bus ride away.
The road runs at 90 degrees to the line which is a curve under the bridge, so the light will favour Derby departures up until mid day and arrivals after lunch. There are a number of bushes that will start to encroach on the later coaches of workings but nothing on the front few vehicles.
Given the proximity of the A6 to where you will stand road noise will be a serious problem for videographers.
