Come off the main A38 onto the A5132. After approx. 2 miles turn left into Frizams lane. Head up this road and after 1 mile you will see a gate on the left leading to the railway bridge. Don't block the gate as the farmer uses this quite often.
Very limited by the bridge, it would be better to park near the marina area in Stenson and walk down the canal towpath.
Arriva service 38 operates every 10 minutes from Derby to Stenson Fields. From Stenson Road the bus turns left before the road crosses the A50 onto Wragley Lane, from where it is about a 10-15 minute walk back down Stenson Road.
Walking down Stenson Road you will reach the Trent Canal. Here turn right and walk the canal tow path until the next bridge and here walk away from the river to reach the location.
None at the location. Nearest shops are at Willington village. Stenson Lock Coffee Shop is located about 400 yards along the canal tow path to the east of the location.
