Road directions
From Nuneaton Ring Road follow the A444 Weddington Road, out of the town centre signposted (A5, Burton), for approximately 2 miles, shortly before you reach the A5 there is a narrow left hand turn signposted Caldecote, head down this road, after around 0.3 miles park up, at this point the road becomes a bridleway, and private drive continue down there for around 0.4 miles, where there is a gate and the bridleway continues, after a short while there will be a style on the left hand side leading to a bridge, continue along the path under the railway line for an alternative angle across the fields. Do not be tempted to park further up the bridleway, as this is a private driveway of which the locals are quiet protective.

Cresswell coaches operate a Number 7 service along Weddington Road, from where the driving directions can be followed.
Amenities
Despite being a rural location the town of Nuneaton where there are plenty of local facilities is only around 2.5 miles away.
The line here runs from North West to South East, favouring Southbound shots until mid afternoon when the sun has moved around enough for a Northbound shot. Whilst the footbridge offers views of all 4 lines, the two outside tracks (slow lines) have limited clearance and a narrow angle, however the line is sufficiently elevated, and landscape clear enough to use the footpaths in the area for alternative angles.
