Exit the A5 and head into Atherstone and follow the one way system round. At the second mini roundabout turn right onto Coleshill Road. After crossing the railway turn left onto Westwood Road and the footbridge is on the left.
No restrictions on parking. Parking was available at the very bottom of the steps to the bridge!
Atherstone train station has an hourly service to London and Crewe and the location is approximately 15 minutes walk away from the station.
Atherstone town centre has plenty to offer.
Easiest shots are looking north from the south side of the line as you can photograph from the very bottom of the bridge over the palisade fencing or you can climb a few steps. Northbound photos are possible from either the top of the bridge or by leaning over (careful of the OHLE obviously) the side slightly.
