Its best to park in one of Southampton's many car parks and either walk or catch a train or bus
There is a small 'lay-by' at the base of the foot bridge which is accessed from the entrance slip road to the A33 from Paynes Road. This is suitable for one or two cars, but if you are going for a special then allow time to find somewhere else. What space there is in nearby streets are taken up by people parking and then walking into work.
The large car park to the south of the station is part of the docks.
Swt run an hourly service to Millbrook.
Wilts and Dorest 6 Bluestar 8,9,11,12 First 21 and Dorset sprinter X5 all stop at Millbrook station the 8 and 9 run a 20 min service.
There are no toilets on the station and the nearest shops selling food are a 5 minute walk away or in the city centre.
Southampton is full of hotels and B&B's BUT book well in advance as many places go to the thousands of cruise ship passengers that pass through Southampton every week.
The station is roughly south east to north west, with the foot bridge giving uncluttered angles throughout the day.
Videographers will be affected by noise from both the docks and the A33.
