The safest parking is at bottom of hill leading to bridge, but for a short stop, the road is wide enough at the bridge. Be aware of large agricultural vehicles using the road.
Very occasional buses serve Playford.
There are no shops or pubs in Playford. The nearest would be in Kesgrave, which is about 2 miles to south.
Gradient against westbound trains. Reverse curves to east of bridge, straight track to west. Better for westbound trains but possible for eastbound, too.
