Road directions
From the A12, take the exit to the A120 into Marks Tey. Follow the road west towards Stansted until you come to the first roundabout, called Asbury Drive. Take that left and follow the street to Jay's Lane. Turn left again and follow it until you come to the footbridge on your left. You can't miss it. It is blue and has large ramps.
Parking
Laybys for days at this locatiojn. Just do not block traffic. Tractors use this road too.
Public transport
Take the train to Marks Tey. From there it's a good walk from the station along the A roads to the location.
Amenities
No toilets, although the station may have something to offer.

The Marks Tey hotel.

Photographic notes
Most of the good shots are on the south side of the footbridge on the ramp near the end. Good for morning shots. Facing north you can just get a shot of trains heading towards London on a curve. Good for afternoons. On the north side of the bridge, if the sun swings around enough, it will work out the exact same.
Remember you're shooting with catenary equipment, so use caution, and pick accordingly.
