From the M9 junction 3 Bo'ness and Linlithgow:
Turn left towards Linlithgow (A803) continue on the A803 through Linlithgow and into Linlithgow Bridge, pass the A825 for Whitecross and take the next road from the left (also for Whitecross). Continue up this B road until you pass over the railway at the location.

On street, next to bridge.

Sainsbury's and Sommerfield supermarkets are located in Linlithgow Bridge which is about 2 miles to the east.
There is also a pub (The Bridge Inn) which caters for bar meals.

Best results are looking west in the morning , looking east from the late afternoon. Though satisfactory results are possible in both directions.

Care must be taken, as the location is on a narrow over bridge with no pavement and traffic passes very close by.
