Just passed the car importers is a small lay-by where you can park the car and then follow a small footpath up to the crossing.
Take the Number 12 bus from Gloucester to Waterwells Park and Ride take a left out of the Park and Ride and then a right on to Naas Lane walk for 1/4 mile till you get to the car importers, 300 yards beyond is a small footpath this take you to the crossing.
Best place to stand is on the Eastern side on the crossing opposite the old siding this gives good 2 miles viability in both directions. Light can be tricky photographing northbound trains at sunset due to the sun being in your lens.
