Road directions
From Market Deeping (North of Peterborough) head west on the A16 towards Stamford. From this road, you need to take the left turn towards West Deeping. Continue past this village until you reach the Level crossing. Shots can be had at the level crossing, but you may prefer to go to the foot crossing. To get there, continue south over the crossing. You need to find a little bridge which will let you cross the dyke into the field on the left. Once in the field, turn back on yourself, and follow the footpath to the railway.
You can also get to the crossing from the footpath from Maxey Road, but this walk is much longer.
Parking
You can park on the left by the level crossing, or on the grass verges beyond the crossing. However, if parking on the grass verge, please park on the west side of the road, else you may end up in the dyke! Be careful!!
Public transport
See the road directions.
Amenities
Nothing at the location itself, but there are a few pubs in the surrounding villages. Nearby Market Deeping should cater for any other needs!

Photographic notes
The foot crossing has been closed (April 2013), it is not know if it will reopen.

The line here runs NW to SE. Shots can also be had in both directions here, and from both sides of the line. However, the fencing of a nearby bridge can be obtrusive when photographing southbound trains from the southern side of the line. Stepping slightly to the right should overcome this.
