Road directions
The B1318 runs between the A1 and Newcastle city centre. Turn onto Church Road at the junction with Gosforth High Street (B1318) and follow this road, which becomes Station Road when passing South Gosforth Metro station. Shortly after the station, turn left into Hunters Road and drive to the end.

Residential area with on-street parking.
Public transport
Alight at South Gosforth Metro station. Make your way onto station road overbridge, cross the road and turn right, following Station Road downhill. Turn left into Hunters Road and walk to the end where you will see the footbridge. Approx. 10mins walk.

There are general shops on Station Road as you walk towards Hunters Road.

Photographic notes
Good general photography, no shadows with being on a footbridge. Strong afternoon sunlight can pose a problem, especially in winter. A good zoom lens is recommended for taking shots of the depot in the distance. Overhead Line masts may obscure some angles, but the OL equipment is lightweight in nature compared to mainline equivalents.
