Most other roads have a 2 hour limit.

The area is well served by regular buses and the excellent Tramlink. Tram and bus stops are opposite the station entrance.

Amenities
There is a lot on offer in Croydon. East Croydon itself has a cafe and a shop where snacks can be purchased.
As of June 2017 the car park is due to be demolished and the road bridge adapted for pedestrian use. Shadows from the nearby flats can be troublesome at times. However, reasonable shots can be had of trains departing East Croydon from Lunchtime onwards. Shots can also be had from the bridge immediately outside the station entrance.
