Norwood Junction station is a short walk away, leave the station by the North exit and turn left along Cargreen Road, at the end is a park, there is a path way though which goes straight to Tennison Road.
Selhurst station is slightly further to walk, from the station exit turn left onto Selhurst Road, Selhurst depot is right in front of you, follow the road until you get to a set of traffic light, turn right and this is Tennison Road.

This area is served by buses.

Photographic notes
The line is NE-SW so the light is better looking towards Norwood Junction, to the Depot side there are some signal gantries, you can get a good view of the depot. The bridge sides are about 5'6" high, so you may need a small box to stand on, I'm 6' and can just manage to see though the camera ok.
Videographers beware as the road traffic will cause you trouble. The footpaths are quiet tight so large step ladders and tripods may cause the locals to moan.
