Location notes
Located on the south eastern section of the WCML, about 31 miles north of Euston.
Railway type and traffic
Plenty of Virgin Anglo-Scottish/London - Midlands express passenger services. London Midland trains operate the slower rural passenger services. There is also a wide mix of freight, working north to places like Manchester and Scotland.

Environment
The station is not actually in Tring, but on the outskirts.
Road directions
Parking
There are 20 minute bays where you can park your car by the station. Otherwise you will have to pay in the long term car park.
Public transport
Silverlink County run Hourly weekend and Half-hourly services from London Euston, Watford Junction & Milton Keynes Central.

Photographic notes
Stand on the island platform, near the steps. The bridges can provide quite a nice frame to the picture. Although there is along straight section to the north this view is unobtainable due to the platform widths. So it is platform shots or northbound.
If you have steps you can get good views from the pallisaide fence at Bottom of car park, but its not as good as on the platforms.
