Leave the M5 at Junction 16: Head south on the A38. After crossing straight over the first roundabout continue down the road. When you go under a foot bridge, immediately take the exit left onto Stoke Lane. Continue down this road and at the second mini roundabout turn right onto Clay Lane and then, at the end, left on Station road to the station.
There is space of several vehicles either in the station car park or just before the footbridge to the east of the station.
The station is served hourly by trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff.
You can shoot in both directions. Some trains, mainly those headed to Filton Abbey Wood, are stopped on the signal before the station which gives longer to get that ideal photo! There is not too much noise, however you are adjacent to Filton Airport.
