Road directions
From the M25, Junction 24:
Head south along the A111 towards Cockfosters. After passing a speed camera (2013) you will come to a mini roundabout where you need to turn right onto Beech Hill. Continue along this road until it ends in a T junction and turn left onto Hadley Common. At the end of this road you will find the car park. Park up here and continue on foot to the bridge.
Parking
You can park, just to the west of the location, in Bakers Hill where there is a small car park.
Public transport
Not well served by public transport.
There is a public footpath that runs from New Barnet Station (opposite the railway bridge) that runs to the location parallel to the railway. This is about a half mile walk.
Amenities
Potters Bar and New Barnet have plenty of shops
Railway Gen Group
Anglia Gen
Photographic notes
The bridge is easy to photograph from, to the north Hadley Wood South Tunnels add to the photo nicely and to the south the buildings of Barnet add nicely to the photos and videos.
