Apex corner IS the junction of the A1 and A41.
Parking options consist of the Burger King car park, Petrol Stations car parks or Glendor Gardens (residential street parking) - First left turn off of Selvage Lane.
Next to a Burger Kind drive through. With a two petrol stations and a row of shops moments away.
An excellent view of approaching southbound trains and a reasonable view of northbound trains (for a better view see Apex Corner - Northbound) Your angle of views is limited on one side by the bank (Fig 3). With this in mind the location favours mornings.

Although the location looks good the line runs parallel to the M1 motorway, traffic noise makes the location pretty much unusable unless you are shooting silent movies or post dubbing the audio.
