Street parking in Grove Gardens. But being in a residential are and near to a tube station expect to have to hunt for a space.
Bus services 113 and 186 pass on the Watford way.
Hendon BR and Hendon Central or Colindale Underground stations are all about a miles walk.
No shops in the immediate area. But there are plenty of shops on the Watford Way. The closest being a Petrol Station/Mini market just south of the traffic lights.
Steps would be useful at this location.
The primary shot for this location, the southbound shot on the high level freight line is ok until around 13:00. But after that the sun would be behind the trees. The line also runs at roughly 40 degrees to the bridge giving you a more 3/4 view than is usually possible from a bridge.
It is possible to see from the northern side of the bridge what is approaching from the south. But you can not see what is approaching from the north if you are on the south side. It is also not possible to move quickly from one side to the other as it a busy dual carriage way and part of the central reservation is a tall fence guarding the gap between bridges.
Noise from the M1 motorway opposite will alway be prominent in soundtrack for videographers.
