As with all inner London locations it is better to get a travel card and commute in.

Very hard to find and expensive, cheaper to get the train!

Photographic notes
Lines run ESE to WNW so up trains photograph best in the morning, downs in the afternoon. The footbridge is quite long, giving opportunities for photography from numerous angles. There is a car-breaking plant nearby which is very noisy - this would interfere with video shots. Also the railway bridges are of metal construction and have shaky metal fences, making a passing train very noisy
Shots of the lines below are difficult, although not impossible, due to the large amount of overhead line equipment.
