From the Forth Road Bridge:
Take the first exit after crossing into Fife, sign posted North Queensferry and Rosyth, take the third exit at the roundabout then the second exit at the second roundabout that you will immediately encounter into the large Bus Park and Ride station. Parking here is free and aim to park as near to the exit as possible. Walk out of the park and ride car park and cross the main road. Turn to your right after crossing the road and walk towards the A90 dual carriageway. There is an un-gated entrance on your left hand side with a very rough track leading up towards the railway. Continue to climb the large hill along this track and you will gain enough height to look down onto the viaduct.

There are frequent bus services from Inverkeithing to the Park and Ride bus station.

Public toilets in the waiting room of the bus park and ride station. No other amenities near by, but Inverkeithing boasts pubs, shops and take away facilities.

Best for southbound shots in the afternoon once the sun has moved to the west. With the constant flow of units, plus the Voyagers and HST’s northbound ‘going away’ shots are obtainable, but somewhat restricted for northbound MGR’s.
