From the Forth Road Bridge
Take the second exit after crossing into Fife, sign posted North Queensferry and Rosyth, take the second exit at the roundabout sign posted for Rosyth Ferry Terminal. Park your car on the grass verge on the left BEFORE you reach the second roundabout. You will see a gate across the road, enter the field through this gate and climb the hill until you have the required vantage point.

There is a frequent bus service from Inverkeithing to the Bus Park and Ride which is at the other side of the main A90. Leave the park and ride and turn to your right once you are under the main dual carriageway.

Public toilets in the waiting room of the bus park and ride station. No other amenities near by, but Inverkeithing boasts pubs, shops and take away facilities.

From this location you have to shoot over the dual carriageway and a fairly large zoom lens (300mm upwards) is required.
Best in the late spring and summer evenings when the sun has come round to the north west.
