A new mobile site has been ceated. Whilst this page will remain you may find
Trainspots mobile better suited to a smart phone.
The location is just off the A4. Which can be accessed from the M25 at Junction 15, travel into London remaining on the M4 and then the A4 and the location will be on your right.
You can park in Tesco Kensington (Earls Court) Car Park, it is free of charge to park up to 2 hours for shoppers, after 2 hours you might have to pay.
Toilets can be found in Tesco. Food and Drinks can be brought from Tesco. There is also an Internet Café in the Superstore.
There are lots of hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area. But if you do wish to stay it would be better to book in advance as the area is well used for exhibitions and tourists.
The Light is good for taking photos of trains heading North during the mornings and evening. But around midday is it quite bad, as you have the sun facing the camera.
You can see the Signals which tell you if the train is coming and what line is it going to take through Kensington Olympia.
The noise from the A4 can be quite intrusive as it is a busy route in and out of London.
