There is parking for a couple of cars on the south side of the bridge and ample grass verges on the north side.
Nothing at the location, there is a petrol station on the A47. There is a little Chef on the A1 but this is on the northbound side of the road. Otherwise it is the Cafe at Wansford (support the NVR) or into Peterborough.
There are lots of Bed and Breakfast in Peterborough.
Given the location is on an east to west axis there should be a shot in one direction at any time of the day. On busy days (i.e. Galas) this can be a popular location.
It is open fields so there is little noise other than the railway, indeed you can often hear trains whistle or hoot on their departure from Wansford which is about 7 or 8 minutes away.
