Traveling by road is not easy, especially with all the Channel Tunnel related works, public transport is advised.
There is a small, expensive, car park.
Kings Cross St. Pancras Underground station is served by the Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Northern, Piccadilly and Victoria lines. Buses are available, but the tube is advisable.
An AMT coffee, Upper Crust and McDonalds are in the station.
There is a Travelodge close to the station.
Kings Cross, along with all the other London terminus's, is a security area. Permission should always be sought from the Network Rail Office, located opposite platform 1, before a long session of Photography.
The lighting at night will often allow hand held shots of stationary trains at the buffer stops. Otherwise the outdoor end is usually a shadow area.
