From Banbury, head out on the A423 towards Southam. After a short while, you will notice a right hand turn to Cropredy which is well signposted. Head straight towards the village, and you will soon come to the railway bridge which is the location.
Park on the side of the road either just before, or just after the bridge. Your vehicle will be visible here at all times.
Cropredy has two pubs, The Brasenose Arms offers a bar and restaurant, and the Red Lion also offers meals including takeaways. There is also a useful spar store and a coffee shop in the village .
The Brasenose Arms also caters for Bed and Breakfast.
The line here runs almost north to south, so light can be troublesome at certain times. However, good shots of southbound trains are best from lunchtime and through the afternoon. Northbound workings are more difficult but early morning or late evening shots can be had here.
