Road directions
The quickest way from Banbury is to cut through Little Bourton, but to simplify things we will go a slightly longer way to get to the location.
Head out towards Southam on the A423. Take the right hand turning to Great Bourton, and follow the road down until you see School Lane on your right. Take this narrow and winding road and make a right down Foxden Way when you come to it. Travel down this lane for a few hundred yards, looking out for a small cemetery on the left - the lane to the location is right next to it. Follow the lane down to the railway. Shots here are limited, but if you make your way to the foot-crossing to your left (from either the footpath half-way up the lane, or from the one just a few yards on the left if you cross the line) you should get some better photographic views.
Parking
The road is narrow, so be careful when parking. There is an area provided for visitors to the cemetery, but the locals are very friendly, and is best not to upset them. The lane down to the railway is in very bad shape, so unless you are driving a tractor, do not try and park near to the railway line. You have been warned!
Amenities
Well, there is a pub in the village at least, but I have never tried this one..

Photographic notes
Photos can be taken from both crossings, although if the light is right, it is best to use the foot crossing as line side equipment and signalling do not interfere with the composition.
However, interesting shots can be had from the 'wrong side' of the line if the sun is hiding..
In general, the location is best for southbound trains in the afternoon, afternoon
This is a useful location for video, as although the M40 isn`t too far away, it is very quiet here.
