Road directions
From Rugby station, head south (up hill) along Murray Road. When you reach the roundabout, take the 2nd exit down Lower Hillmorton Road. Keep following this road. You will eventually notice a small row of shops and a pub on the left. Keep going..............
You will later pass some more shops on the right hand side. Take note of the Indian restaurant (more on that later!) keep following the road which soon ducks under the railway. Continue driving, passing over the canal, then following the road as it bears to the right. Along this lane, you will notice a few areas where you can pull in. The best location is between the 2nd and 3rd of these.
Parking
The road is narrow here, so park in one of the spaces are on the left hand side.
Amenities
There is a great Indian restaurant nearby, Exotica Bengal Cuisine. Well worth a visit.

Photographic notes
From this side of the line, very early morning shots are best here, as at other times the sun is on the wrong side of the line. However, on a dull day..
You can also follow the footpath down the canal, but shots here are even more limited due to tall hedges and telegraph lines obscuring most shots. However, there is a gate (Just in front of the loco in figure 2) where shots can be had.
If you are wanting to photograph a train coming from the east, be very vigilant, as you can not normally see them until they are in shot!
