From Northampton, head out on the A428.The turning for the village is well signposted. When in the centre of the village, bear left on the road to Daventry. After passing the Fire Station, turn left into South Close. This then leads into Wright road. You should look for a public footpath sign. Simply follow the footpath and disregarding any left or righthand turns, and you should arrive at the location.
Parking is in a residential area, but you should not get any trouble in this part of the village.
Long Buckby station is served by two trains an hour from Birmingham to Northampton, hourly continuing to London Euston.
Stagecoach service 96 also operates hourly between Rugby and Northampton to Long Buckby village.
When you arrive at the bridge, you will notice that the walls are quite tall. Shorter photographers may find it beneficial to bring some light steps with them.
Shots can be taken from both sides of the bridge, and the sun should be behind you for lunchtime/afternoon shots.
