This location is within walking distance from Ryde St.Johns station. From here, exit the car-park and turn left walking up St.Johns Road. Then take the next right which is Monkton Street. Follow this street for a short while and turn down the second road on your right (Rink Road) and walk to the over bridge.
You can park in the station car-park, or in one of the many side streets in the area.
There are plenty of shops, cafes etc in Ryde centre. A few corner shops are situated close by, and Ryde St.Johns station has toilet facilities.
There are plenty of Bed and Breakfasts and hotels in the area.
This location is best when shooting north, although you can also take photographs in the opposite direction (figures 3 and 4) but these shots are messy/overgrown, and the sun can also make things difficult in this direction.
