From Ryde take the A3055 towards Shanklin. Once you have passed through Brading (Ignoring any signs to Brading Station,) there is not much further to travel. You will approach a cross roads, with the 'Yarbridge Inn' on your left. Turn left just before the pub, and the location is just off the railway bridge which you should be able to see.
You can park in the pub car-park on the right. Do not park near the railway bridge, as the bridge is narrow here and can be dangerous.
The nearby 'Yarbridge Inn' is excellent. Food is served at lunchtimes and in the Evenings. And for the ale fans, there is always a very good selection of Guest ales, normally at least six on tap at any one time.
There are a few Bed and Breakfasts in Brading.
You will notice a public footpath which is accesible from the other side of the railway bridge. From the steps leading down to the path, shots of southbound trains can be taken. Further along the footpath, it is possible to take photos in the opposite direction, but steps would be recommended to reach over the fencing.
