From Ryde, head south on the A3055, taking a right hand turn into Great Preston Road as you leave the town. Keep keep right at the next fork in the road and continue down Smallbrook lane. You will pass over the railway, and will then reach a mini roundabout half-way up the hill. Turn left here, and you should notice the speedway stadium on your left. Continue down this road, and you will pass over the railway again. You need the first right after this which is Deacons Lane. After a few yards you will soon reach the over bridge.
Park sensibly to the side of the road.
Nothing at the location itself, but there is the Ponda Rosa restaurant which is just north along Ashey Road.
Shots can be had from both sides of the bridge here, but tress to the east can be troublesome. A good shot of trains from Smallbrook can be had from the field which is visible from the bridge here.
