From Ryde, head south on the A3055. As you enter Brading. Vicarge lane is the first turning on the left.
Note:
You may be better of taking the second turning which is Quay Lane. From here, a public footpath will take you to the location.
Parking is virtually impossible down Vicarge Lane, unless you can park in the football ground car-park, but this is not always possible. There is a car-park a few yards to the south, or you can always park down Quay Lane and walk those extra few yards!
Plenty of small shops etc in the town centre. Please also note that Brading station now boasts a museum where drinks and snacks can also be purchased. This is open 11:00-15:00, 7 days a week.
There are plenty of Bed and Breakfasts and hotels in the area.
Shots can be had from both sides of the line, but early morning aside, shots are generally best from the west side of the line.
